This film is suitable for people aged 12 years and over (Classification 12A).

Based on his autobiography, this is a tale about James Bowen (Luke Treadaway),
a recovering drug addict living on the streets of London.
He meets a stray ginger cat who he names Bob and who changes his life.
This is the true story of how one man and his cat overcame adversity,
becoming inspirational figures to many in the process.
Contains some strong language.

Alpha Course

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions

that freely explores the basics of the Christian faith.

No pressure. No follow up. No charge.

It is open to all, newcomers and the not so new.

Each evening will commence at 7.00pm with supper,

followed by a talk (either a speaker or with DVD)

and discussion.

on the second Sunday of every month

during school term time.

Make Lunch Summer 2016

 



Free school meals make a huge difference to almost two million children in the United Kingdom, but when schools are closed so are the kitchens. “Make Lunch” is a network of churches working to fill the holiday hunger gap.



At Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church, on each Thursday of the summer school holiday, 
a hot meal wi
ll be provided for children and their families (no referrals required). 

We will be open from 11.30 am, giving children an opportunity to play, supervised by their parents,

with lunch being served at12.00 noon.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

A project of Samaritan’s Purse

Every year Operation Christmas Child organises shoeboxes full of toys for disadvantaged children.

Hemel Hempstead Methodist Church took part in this campaign
and acted as a drop-off centre for completed shoeboxes

between Monday 2nd and Friday 20th November.
