Updates on the Church Building Project
March 2015
The shell of the building is complete; all the windows are fitted. The final installation of the feature cross is underway. Work on the interior of the building is progressing well. The installation of the lift has commenced. The floor finishes are in progress, most of the dry lining and plaster work has been completed, and good progress has been made on the electrical and mechanical works, the plant room, and installation of the doors. Outside the building, a retaining wall and external staircase have been constructed and work is progressing on the construction of the upper car park and the area near the lower entrance.

Work on the new church building has continued to progress well. The slating to the roof has recently been completed, and the brickwork and blockwork are nearing completion. Inside the building the installation of the electrical conduits and wiring is complete and other internal work is progressing well. The staircase structures have been installed in the lobby. In the worship area, the scaffolding has been dismantled and plastering of the walls is in progress. Work has also started with the external works forming the upper car park and the main entrance area.

We are pleased to report that work has resumed on the building of our new church. The company 'Life Build Solutions' have been appointed as contractors to complete the construction of the new church premises. They began work in April with preliminary site preparation. Good progress has been made and work is now continuing on the brick and block work on the walls. This is being followed by installation of the roof beams and timber decking.
